About Me
I’m an experienced magazine and book designer with a passion for illustration and typography. After graduating from Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Illustration and Art History, I worked at Richard Solomon Artist Representative. Studying all markets and projects connected with illustration, I pursued a career in publishing and fell in love with print design for books and magazines.
Now with 5+ years of experience in print production, design and visual storytelling my work has been recognized by industry-leading competitions such as American Illustration, Communication Arts, and 3x3 Magazine. I art directed Thinkable Times Magazine which was awarded two grants from Yale University- the Rothberg Catalyzer Prototype Fund and The Student Exploration Fund- for its exploration in accessible design tailored for people with Alzheimer's & Dementia.
As a freelance illustrator, I specialize in conceptual and narrative works in a realistic style mixing digital and traditional mediums. Twice a year, every year since graduating, I have had the privilege of returning to my alma mater F.I.T. to guest lecture and talk to students about the creative industry.
